Overview
Integratec application has a UNION-based SQL injection in the sInfo parameter of /login/ap_Login.aspx/start. Attackers can extract sensitive data and cause errors or partial DoS. This vulnerability is critical and could lead to data exfiltration or privilege escalation.
Description
SQL injection (SQLi) vulnerability—specifically a UNION-based vulnerability—in the Integratec application that affects the sInfo parameter sent via POST to the endpoint /login/ap_Login.aspx/start. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to steal data from the database, such as credentials and user information, and cause errors and partial denial-of-service conditions. Furthermore, this vulnerability could facilitate other types of follow-up attacks, such as data exfiltration or privilege escalation.
Impact
Confidentiality: attackers can read database contents. Integrity: potential data tampering. Availability: partial DoS. Defenders: application owners, database admins, security teams.
Remediation
Apply vendor patch or update to latest version. If patch unavailable, sanitize sInfo input, use parameterized queries, enable web application firewall rules to block UNION patterns, monitor logs for unusual POSTs to /login/ap_Login.aspx/start.
Risk context
Severity critical, CVSS 9.8, EPSS 0.00228 indicates low probability but high impact. Immediate attention recommended.
