Overview

Brizy – Page Builder for WordPress has a stored cross-site scripting flaw in the rootAttributes parameter through version 2.8.14. Authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher can inject scripts that run when visitors view affected pages. This matters because it can compromise site visitors and weaken trust in the WordPress site.

Description

The Brizy – Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘rootAttributes’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.14 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Impact

Confidentiality and integrity are affected because injected scripts can read page content, access session data, or perform actions on behalf of visitors.
